Unleashed Baseball Team Logo

I created this logo for a local baseball team named Unleashed.  The brief was fairly simple, they wanted a logo that looked heroic, epic and powerful in the shape of an U.  The colors were previously picked out from their jerseys.  I did over 60 initial designs and pitched them 15 options + different layouts to accompany them.  I've always been told by teachers and other professionals to only do 3 to 5 thumbnails and show those to the clients, but I feel that I need to put down the bad ideas on paper before the good ones come out.  It was a though process but I learned a lot.  Good luck this season Unleashed!

Update:  The team just sent me a picture of the hat!  It turned out beautifully!
